Tree Care & Landscape Equipment Sales Specialist
Are you passionate about providing solutions for your customers that add value to their business while providing an exceptional customer experience? We’re looking for a dynamic sales professional to drive the Vermeer tree care, rental and landscape business. If you have a passion for developing relationships through maintaining customer value creation, we would like to hear from you!
- Establish and maintain customer accounts by managing work schedules and itineraries to call on current and prospective customers.
- Ensure sales presentations, quotes and orders meet customer needs and Vermeer UK requirements. Oversee the entire pre-sale and after-sale process, providing timely follow-ups.
- Address and resolve customer concerns by investigating problems and providing solutions that will add value to their operations, providing exceptional customer service and growing the Vermeer brand in the territory.
- Analyse market trends, sales forecasts and business plans, manage customer-related data, assist in the development and implementation of marketing programs, assist in trade shows or similar company functions, as required.
- Contributes to team success by assisting or referring to other representatives as needed and supporting Vermeer’s overall objectives.
- Demonstrate equipment to customers, providing comprehensive information on operating, servicing, warranty, and parts.
- Maintain a professional presence, ensuring a positive brand representation in the field and in meetings.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on health and safety requirements.
- Strong organisational and decision-making abilities with a proactive approach and a readiness to take initiative.
- Ambitious, goal-oriented with interpersonal and negotiating skills to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; including face-to-face, telephone, and written correspondence.
- Preference will be given to previous experience in heavy equipment sales industry, preferably within the tree care, rental, and landscape industry.
- Previous tree care, rental house, and/or landscape industry experience is preferable.
- Clean drivers licence preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HubSpot is preferable. Training on HubSpot will be provided.
- Significant travel and overnight stays throughout the UK are expected.
Good remuneration package to include basic salary, commission and company pension.
Fully expensed company vehicle suitable to the job application.
